The parents of Judge Saleh Strong III are in conflict with Ancestry.com:
<http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~havens5/p37349.htm>
Selah Strong iii b. 25 December 1737, d. 4 July 1815, #37349
Father Selah Strong Jr.1 b. 23 February 1713/14 Mother Hannah Woodhull1 b. 25 February 1717
It is not very likely that a son of Thomas Strong would be called Selah Strong III. It is also curious that if Thomas Strong were the son of Selah Strong Sr. that he would be called Thomas II.
