Obituary: JUDGE SHELTZ Published: The Charleston Gazette, Monday, August 19, 1946
Judge Sheltz, 75, of 328 69th Street S.E., died yesterday morning at his home after an illness of about one year.
The body was removed to Fidler & Frame mortuary at Belle and was returned to the residence last night.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lilly Sheltz; five daughters, Mrs. Minoa Buckley and Mrs. Flora Harpole, both of Malden, Mrs. Daisy Harpole of Reed, Mrs. Ora Vance of Riverview and Mrs. Ha__ L. Lockard of Charleston; four brothers, James Sheltz of ___, Frank Sheltz of Spring Hill, Fred Sheltz of Teays and Charles Sheltz of Dunbar; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Malden Methodist church. Earl Hissom and W. E. Bennett will officiate.
Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.
