About Judith Murray
Judith was born in Germany near Frankfurt. Her family became followers of Jacob Frank. She married a fellow Frankist from Poland Tam Murzinski. Her sister Chana (Honaria) married Tam's brother Pinchus Murzinski. Judith and her husband came with the other family members to Ireland after Jacob Franks' arrest in late 1760. They arrived in Ireland in 1761. In Ireland they became known as Thomas and Judith Murray. Their son Daniel was to become the Frankist Archbishop of Dublin. These Frankists were allied with the Jacobites under the leadership of Cardinal York (Prince Henry Stuart) who was a great supporter of the Frankists and Jesuits.
