Judith Rothstein

Born in 1929 in Germany. Emigrated with her parents to Eretz Israel (British Mandate of Palestine) in 1933? Moved to NYC in her 20's, and lived in Queens, NY, USA.

Judy loved art and photography, and animals especially small dogs and loved to collect dinnerware dishes and at one time owned countless sets of dishes. She proudly displayed many family photos in her tiny NY apartment and often spoke very lovingly of family. She adored my mother and was alway kind and gracious to me as an adult. I have several fond memories of her....but amongst my favorite was when she and Tante Dora came to our house and detailed the family tree (for what Tante was able to remember...which did get interesting at times :-) (Joel Blady)

Died in Queens, NY on March 28, 2012 ( 5 Nisan 5772) ten days before Pesach and was buried in Kiryat Anavim Cemetery, in Kiryat Avevim, Judea Mountains, Israel, on April 1, 2012.
