Peter and his wife Judith emigrated to Australia in Sept. 1950 on the "Johan van Oldenbarnaveldt"

with their four children; Judith's cousin Bob and his family were evidently on the same ship. They

had a fifth child (son Frits) in Tasmania, Australia. They moved to New Zealand in 1959. They

changed (anglicized) their name from 'Langezaal' to 'Lang' by "deedpoll" in 1960.
