About Julia Ann Barnett
Julia Ann Bliss was born in Canton, Ohio on June 4, 1824/ She united with the Baptist Church at the age of 16. She was married to HENRY H. BARNETT in 1842. He was born Dec. 1, 1813 in Vermont and died Apr. 20, 1894 in Granger, Medina Co., Ohio. She died Feb. 28,. 1908 in Ohio. Both buried at Coddingville Cemetery, Coddingville, Medina Co. Ohio. He was a farmer.
Children were: Jacob T. (1844), Esther Alice (1847), Nancy (1851) and one that died in infancy.
"She leaves to mourn their loss, two daughters and one son, Jacob T. "Tige", of Saybrook, Illinois; who was with her at her death, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a kind wife and mother, ever ready to help others in time of trouble. The funeral was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.B. (Nancy) Link, on Sunday, Mar. 1, conducted by Rev. Charles Searles. Burial was at Coddingville."
