Julia married John Stadsvold Nov 3, 1891 per cert. C 355 in Pope Co. of MN. According to census, they were parents of Judin, Palvin or Paul, Ella, Oscar, Guri, and Valborg.

According to the church record list available at Pope County Historical Museum, Glenwood, MN, Julia's parents were Paul & Guri Torgerson.

Julia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Torgerson, was born Dec. 2, 1868, in Filmore Co., MN, & came to Langhei Township with her parents when she was one year old. She continued to reside with her parents until her marriage to John Stadsvold on Nov. 3, 1891 and moved to his farm in Rolling Forks. She is survived by Mr. Stadsvold and the sons and daughters, Judin Stadsvold, Paul Stadsvold, both of Starbuck, Ella and Oscar at home, and Mrs. Edwin Hagen and Mrs. Leo Hagen. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Paul Torgerson of Langhei, and the brothers Ole, Torgy and Tom Paulson.
