She died of pneumonia leaving a 10 mo old baby daughter. She was buried in Otto Cemetery as her husband was working there as a sharecropper, Julie was moved from Otto, New Mexico, 24 Oct 1996 just shy of 80 years after her death to the Moody Cemetery by her only surviving son John Thomas. He died within a few months of completing his forever wish to have her near family.
