Julie (50), and her husband, Willem Daniel le Roux "Willie" (53), were found dead - both shot in the forehead, on 12th October 2009, on their Kranshoek, Hog's Hollow beach house smallholding.
Capt. Malcolm Pojie, Southern Cape police spokesman said, their bodies were discovered around 2pm when police followed up information after Le Roux's BMW was found abandoned Sunday afternoon near a training center in KwaNokuthula, a suburb of Plettenberg Bay. According to Pojie, the smallholding was initially found abandoned, but on closer inspection
Mrs. Le Roux's body was found in the bedroom on the bed and that of her husband in another building on the site. Both were tied up.
According to him, a family member spoke to Le Roux for the last time on Saturday afternoon. The couple was believed to have been killed between Saturday night and yesterday morning, he said.
Pojie asked eyewitnesses who could help with information, asking the investigating officer, Insp. Theodore Windvogel, call 044 533 3121 or 073 168 8808. Police are investigating a double murder.
