Julius Omer Bieker

CONCORDIA — Omer Bieker, 85, Concordia, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005. Mr. Bieker was born Aug. 16, 1920, at Big Creek. He was a bookkeeper and surveyor for the Cloud County Highway Department,
retiring in 1987.
He was preceded in death by an infant son Theodore, and a grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, of Concordia; seven sons, Bernard of Rifle, Colo., Larry of Pittsburg, Dick, Jim, Tony and Tom, all of Concordia, and Dale of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Betty Deneke of Amarillo, Texas, Peggy Colgrove of Washington and Kathy Schmidt of Concordia; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. Burial will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 588 and American Legion Post 76. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
