About Justin Wilson
Justin Boyd Wilson (born 31 July 1978 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England was a British professional open-wheel driver. Just before his death he competed part-time in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 25 Honda for Andretti Autosport. He competed in the Champ Car series from 2004–07, scoring four wins. He competed in Formula One in the 2003 season with Minardi and Jaguar and was the winner of the 2001 International Formula 3000 championship. To date, he is the tallest person to have raced in Formula One.
On 23 August 2015, Wilson suffered a traumatic brain injury in a horrific accident at the Pocono Raceway and died at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown, Lehigh County,, Pennsylvania, USA
Wilson was an organ donor and, a road cycling and mountain biking enthusiast,and also was an ambassador for dyslexia, a learning disorder characterized by difficulty reading that challenged him as a youth. He often would speak to groups at the racetrack and visit schools near INDYCAR race venues.
