Babcock died at approximately 1:35 a.m. Monday, May 27, 1985, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He was 62 years old, a native of Eldora, Iowa, and a resident of Baton Rouge. ≤/p>es were held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 1985.  The service was conducted by the Reverend Randy Cuevas.  Interment is in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  ≤/p>niels, of Des Moines, IA, Mrs. Don Teichert, of Fort Dodge, IA, and Mrs. Roger Wolf Jr., of Anchorage, AK; three brothers, Everett L. Babcock, of Hayward, CA, Wilbert P. Babcock and Benjamin Harrison Babcock Jr, both of Des Moines, IA; a granddaughter, Melissa B. Argrave; a great-grandson, Vincent Kenneth Argrave, of Baton Rouge, LA; nieces and nephews.≤/p>his parents, Benjamin Sr. and Valborg Babcock.  Honorary pallbearers were members of Mother's of Mercy Knights of Columbus Council No. 4030 and B. L. Champagne Sr. and Anthony Zelinka.≤/p>r.
