Kenneth S. Hartzler

WOOSTER - Kenneth S. Hartzler, 69, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.

He was born February 8, 1951 in Wooster the son of Lowell “Lefty” and Marilyn Martin Hartzler. He married Susan Stanford on February 7, 1992. She survives.

Kenneth proudly served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He worked for CenturyLink, performing various duties, for 35 years before his retirement in 2013. Previously to that he had worked in construction. Kenneth loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by his mother; step-daughters Lynn (James) Woodruff and Stacy (Benjamin) Gammell; and his sisters Karin (Gary) Snyder and Kathy Mick.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Interment with military honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
