Kenneth David Lusk

Kenneth David Lusk, 67, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was born December 4, 1938, in Malad, Idaho, to David Jenkins Lusk and Merle Reynolds Lusk.

    He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his family was the pride of his life.

    Ken has faithfully served in various positions in the LDS Church throughout the years. He was just recently released from serving as Bishop of the Lakeridge 6th Ward in Orem, Utah.

    He is survived by his wife of 34 years LaRae Lee Lusk; his children: Jared (Gwen) Lusk, Frank (Shelly) Lusk, Colleen (Ty) Kempton, Tawnya (Dave) Morrill, Melanie Lusk, Katrina (Rick) Taylor, Heather Lusk. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; a brother, Scott Lusk; a sister, JoAnne Holt. He was preceded in death by his father, David J. Lusk; his mother, Merle Reynolds Lusk; Ken's first wife, Maxine Taylor Lusk; and a sister, Marla Whiting.

    Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006, at 10 a.m., in the Lakeridge 6th Ward Chapel, 80 West 900 South in Orem. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem; and also, Thursday, one hour prior to the services at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Tooele City Cemetery.
