Kevin Marallich (1957 – 2010)

Brief overview:

Kevin (53), a crime intelligence officer for the SAPS, was shot and killed, and his fiancee, Kathy Potgieter, sot and seriously injured when they were attacked while fishing on a farm near Nyoni, north of Durban on 3rd October 2010. He was shot in the face.

Police spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker said it was about 15h00 when farmworkers called the police after discovering the couple. Kathy was flown air-evacuated to Umhlanga Hospital where she was in a critical condition.
