Brief overview:

Kirusha (18), was out with friends on the night of Friday 26th May 2017 when she was stabbed in the chest by two assailants near the council-owned flats Karachi Court, in Actonville. They stole her mobile phone and fled.

After numerous calls to the ambulance and police with no response, a couple from the community rushed Kirusha to Tambo Memorial Hospital. She was declared dead on arrival.

The police claim to they have one eye witness, but to date, the family has not found closure because the people who killed Kirusha have not been convicted for their crime.
