Kitty Babs Pather

Kalayani Sinai and Kitty Anneh were married in Clairwood home. A huge tent was put up in the backyard and the Pillay (neighbour) fence was removed partly and tent extended. We had puri and chutney at ? 6 am to start off things. Nadaraj Mameh(M.N.Pather) conducting the Sarojini Orchestra (with lead saxophone) was on a raised area next to Ma's kitchen(Thailamay). Kitty Anneh later started the Tanjore Orchestra in Durban North and led with harmonium or violin - he was a natural with harmonium - played at Sunday prayer at Kurma Reddi School conducted by Pa (his brother Coopswami). Nine Boy joined Tanjore Orchestra on tenor banjo and he was a superb player = they practised at Bobby Reddy home on Brooks Rd every week. Love Radhakrishna.
