Koos (79), an elderly man from Limpopo who rented accommodation from a family on a farm outside Lephalale (Ellisras), was found murdered on Monday 3rd August 2014.

Col. Ronel Otto, a provincial police spokesperson, said that the police suspect five men broke into the farmhouse on Sunday evening. Jonker rented a small apartment next to a storage room and was murdered in his home.
