About Kurt Katch (Isser Kac)
Polish-Lithuanian actor. Born Iser Kac, known as Kurt Katch, began his career in Germany, where he acted in films until 1937, when he moved to Poland to escape Nazi oppression. There he made only one film before moving to the United States, where he acted in the theater and resumed working in films in 1941. He became an American citizen in 1944. After 1950 he worked primarily in U. S. television.
