About Lady Anna Falconer
LADY ANNA LINDSAY
Lady Anna Lindsay, here treated, is the only daughter of John, Lord Lindsay of the Byres, and his wife Lady Anna Oliphant. She was served heir to her deceased father on 17 April 1610. Inquisitionum Ad Capellam Domini Regis Retornatarum etc. II She married Alexander Falconer, Lord Halkertoun (Contract dated 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 16, 17 and 26 April 1619), but they, being unable to agree, mutually resolved to separate, he allowing her one thousand merks yearly.
