About Lana Anne Procter
On 16 July 1992 Lana was abducted, raped and brutally murdered at a Rangiuru Road orchard in Te Puke. Her naked and battered body was found hidden on the kiwifruit orchard. Michael Mikaere Clarke (20) and Mita Henry Malcolm (18) pleaded guilty and were sentenced to life imprisonment by the High Court at Rotorua. Timothy James Clarke (22) and Samuel Whare Tua (22) admitted charges and were sentenced to 12 years' each in the High Court at Auckland. The murderers were all Te Puke men.
