Larry Wynn Back, Sr.

Larry was a basketball star at Breathitt High. He was on the first team that went to the state tournament in 1959. Larry received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama, but after 2 yrs, joined the Armed forces and was transferred to Germany where he met his wife Christa Anna Montag in 1964. They had their first date on June 21, 1964, and they became engaged Dec 24, 1964. Their son Larry Jr. was born hours after they exchanged vows, that same day July 16 1965. Larry did a 6 month tour in Viet Nam.
