Lars Jonson b. 1699 was the son of Jon Olavson Vestrheim, b. 1661 and Marta Larsdr. b. at Spildo 1661. She was of Losnaætti. Jon is descended from Olav Knutson Jødno, Kinsarvik, who was probably from Rogneætti in Voss. In 1704 Jon bought 5 buckets at Bjørku and bid there. He was for a time the priest's assistant. In 1726, Lars received a gift certificate from his father on his 5 teams in Bjørku. Lars died in 1744 and Torbjørg married in 1745 Torstein Olavson Tverberg. When changing after Lars, the farm tariff was 135 rd. and the net average was 517 rd. which was to alternate between borni and widow. Torbjørg died in 1750 and had with Lars three sons: Jon, Nils, b. 1735, g. 1770 m. Åsa Andersdr. at Dukstad, and Lars b. 1742, g. 1767 m. widow Marta Arnvedsdr. on Skjerve. With Torstein, Torbjørg had his son Lars b. 1746.
