Laura M. Chase (1942 - 2013)
CORNVILLE - Laura M. Chase, 70, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her home in Cornville, with her family by her side. She was born June 5, 1942, in Plymouth, the daughter of Ernest Ira and Aretta (Getchell) Palmer. In 1960, she married Harry Chase at Canaan Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, loved "everything" Elivs Presley and cherished time spent with family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harry Chase, of Cornville; three daughters, Eunice Chase, Angie Chase and Cindy Jo Chase; a son, Harry E. Chase Jr., and wife Caron; three grandsons, Dillan and Christopher Scott, and Jacob Chase; three granddaughters, Cassonda Scott, Mikayla Chase and Victoria Chase; three brothers, Richard Palmer, Thomas Palmer and Jim Palmer; three sisters, Eleanor Rider, Janet Huff and Norma Wing; sister-in-law Phyllis Killam; and many more loving relatives. She was predeceased by her brother, Earl Palmer. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Laura's memory to Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County Inc., P.O. Box 3069, Skowhegan, ME 04976.
