  Laura Manning, 101, passed away peaceably in her sleep on October 6, 2006. She was born in West Virginia but lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Loran (Delores) Manning of Wadsworth, Ohio; grandchildren, Mark (Kaye) Manning of Mesa, Ariz., Gail Wagner (Kelvin) of Boulder, Colo., Janet Manning of Berkeley, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Ricky and Melissa Manning, Tia Marie Wagner; and one sister, Elizabeth Delaney. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 16, 2006 at 3 p.m. at the Goodyear Heights Baptist Church, 1767 Goodyear Blvd., Akron, Ohio, where Laura was a long time member. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
