I have photos and letters from Laura Runkle to Thomas Riddell Sankey. Thomas Daniel lived with the Runkles when he was young and helped run the hotel. He helped Laura when she was having heart problems and coulden't tend to her hotel duties. Laura had no children, as far as I know and Laura was not ever married? this is a guess. I don't really know for sure. (Gwynn's note)
