Lavinia Doss

Daughter of James Doss Jr. and Elizabeth Lester, Livina is believed to have never been married to the father of her possibly 6 children Thomas1801-1881, Unknown b 1805,William1812-1888, Phillip 1814, Mary Polly1816, and UNknown1820. Thomas being my X3 Great Grandfather

Lavina was born about 1770. The only sources found are the 1820 and 1830 censuses. She probably had about seven children but no marriage record has been found. Children were all known as Doss. She passed away after 1830. She was not found in the 1840 census of Pittsylvania Co., VA. The original GEDCOM had her husband as William Doss and her mother as Elizabeth Lester. There is no evidence to support it and were deleted.
