LeRoy Andersen Beach

Deseret News, The (Salt Lake City, UT) - May 31, 1994. Deceased Name: LEROY ANDERSEN BEACH. LeRoy Andersen Beach, age 89, of Springville, died Monday, May 30, 1994 at Mountain View Hospital. He was born April 28, 1905 in Logan, Utah to Orson David and Mary Ann Andersen Beach. He married Freda Bucklin in Santa Ana, California, January 17, 1928. He had lived in Burbank, California for 50 years, working in the film industry. They moved to Springville in 1989.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His accomplishments were many and varied. He will especially be remembered as being kind, loving and generous to all who knew him. He was an extra ordinary "great" grandfather. He was beloved by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, for his every plentiful stash of goodies and bowls of ice cream. His stories of his life experiences, especially in the firm industry were a delight to all who listened. His "hoolie-doolies" were legendary. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Freda of 66 years; three sons, Ray (Diane) Beach, South Jordan; Ted (Marcia) Beach, Springville; Fred Beach, Springville; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Thursday, June 2, 1994 at 2 p.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be Saturday, June 4, at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, California. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the American Cancer Society.
