Lee Wayne Lash

LEE W. LASH, age 72, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Parkview Noble Hospital emergency room in Kendallville, IN. He was born in Kendallville, Noble Co. Jefferson Twp, IN., on March 31, 1933 to Kenneth F. and Gertrude (Schmuck) Lash. He married Sandra Lung on July 30, 1983 in Rome City, IN. and she survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict, and had been stationed in Japan, and Hawaii. Lee was a self employed electrician and heating and air conditioning contractor. Member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church near Kendallville, In., the Moose Lodge 1301, the V.F.W. # 2749 in Kendallville, IN., and the American Legion Post 381 in Rome City, IN.
Surviving are his mother, Gertrude (Schmuck) Arnold, of Kendallville, In., Wife, Sandra L. Lash,of Rome City, IN. three daughters and son-in-laws Liz and (Darwin) Terry, of Kimmell, IN., Lou and (Joe) Letherman, of Green River, Wyoming, and Lisa Boller of Garrett, IN., one step-son Clinton Blaising, of Rome City, IN. two brothers and sister-in-laws Kenneth and Ellen) Lash, Gene and (Phyllis) Lash, both of Kendallville, In. two sisters and brother-in-laws Sheila and (William) Gage of Albion, IN., and Lavinn and (Donald) Hyland, Kendallville, IN. Ten grandchildren, 15 Step grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by Father Kenneth F. Lash, two step sons Bryan and Ryan Blaising and one son-in-law Eddie Kimmel all preceded his death.
Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2005, from 11:00 A.M. til 1:00 P.M. at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral Services will be Friday, December 16, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Hite Funeral Home, Kendallville, IN.
Officiating the funeral service will Pastor Ann Marshall.
Burial will be at Orange Cemetery in Rome City, IN.
