Lena Taylor

LENA SENIOR

Lena Senior was born on Wednesday 9 September 1891 in Earlsheaton, Dewsbury, Yorkshire, the fourth child for Joseph and Mary Senior.

Lena was married in 1912 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire to Frank H Taylor.

It is likely that Lena and Frank had twins, Marian and Vernon, born in 1912, and Ruby, born in 1914.

It is believed that Frank was awarded the OBE or the MBE and that he was the president of Fisher & Co. Lena and her family emigrated to the USA and lived on Long Island, New York state. It is believed that she served as the president of the Anglo-American Women’s Fellowship.
