Mrs. Lenora Mitchell Freeman, 74, of Route 3 died Tuesday morning in Southeastern General Hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 4 p.m. in New Bethel Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Wofford Maynor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at Prevatte Funeral Home.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Velma Lee Strickland of Route 2, Mrs. Thelma Loretta Hunt of Rowland. Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Hunt and Mrs. Zelma Hunt of Fairmont, and Mrs. Margie Sanderson of the home; her sons, James Arlington Freeman of Fairmont and Willard Freeman of the home; a sister, Mrs. Nar Tillie Locklear of Lumberton; a brother, Neal Mitchell of Maryland; 34 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
