Lenora W. McCoy, 82, of Morgantown died Feb. 17, 2004, at a Morgantown nursing home.
The Butler County native was a retired nurse at Lakeview Nursing Home, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Morgantown First United Methodist Church and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5837, Ladies Auxiliary. She was a daughter of the late James Wingfield and Janie Flener Wingfield and the wife of the late Edwin McCoy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Vincent; two brothers, Obie Quiggens and Ernest Wingfield and a nephew, Curtis Wingfield.
Survivors include a son, Allan Shields and his wife, Alice, of Brownsburg, Ind.; two grandchildren, Sherrie Shields and Tim Shields of Brownsburg; three nieces, Christine Wingfield, Debra Wingfield Elmore and Cindy Brooks, all of Morgantown and three great-nieces and nephews, Jason N. Clark, Seth Brooks and Raven Brooks, all of Morgantown.
