The most notable event of the week was the marriage of Miss Nora Eaton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Eaton, and Mr. William F. Slade, at the family residence of the bride. The bride was attired in cream albatross, trimmed with lace, satin ribbons, and white rosebuds, and was attended by her sister, Miss Bernice Eaton. Miss Eaton wore cream crepe cloth, trimmed with lace, satin ribbon and white rosebuds. The groom was attended by his brother, Mr. Jeff Slade. The house was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and hospitality prevailed in the brilliantly lighted rooms. A wedding luncheon was served immediately after the ceremony. The prevailing colors were pink and cream. Mrs. Eaton was assisted in entertaining her guests by Mrs. Joe Udell and Mrs. Mary Cheney.
