LEO JAY RASH was born May 8, 1923 in Morgan Township, Harrison Co., Iowa and died Dec. 20, 2006 in Liberty, Missouri.
Correction, he lived and worked in Liberty, Clay County, Missouri, but he died in Carrollton, Texas.
He graduated in 1941 from Union High School. He married ARLENE JEAN ANDERSON on Jan. 26, 1945 in Waterloo, Ia. She was born July 10, 1925 in Waterloo to Palmer and Rose Anderson and died April 6, 2011. She was survived by son Roger and grandson Leonard Rash.

Leo J. Rash, 83, was welcomed into heaven, December 20th in Carrollton, Texas. He died of a heart attack and complications of diabetes. He was living in a nursing home near his daughter at the time of his death.
He leaves his wife, Arlene, a son, Roger and daughter, Maurine. Also, two grandsons, Leonard and Jeffrey and five great grandchildren.
During his lifetime he worked many different positions. He was an over the road driver, a foreman at the Waterloo, IA Street Department, and in Maintenance for Ford Motor in Claycomo, MO. He was also a very active member of the Church of Christ. Many will remember his ready wit and love of animals as a hallmark of his personality.
