FEITELSON, LEON J., 94, died Monday evening, November 27, 2006 at Jefferson Place. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of The Temple. For more than 30 years, Leon owned the West End Supermarket. After retiring, Leon moved to Clearwater, FL, where he lived for 28 years. His wives, Betty and Mary Feitelson, preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter, Maxine Bizer (Dr. Jerry); son, Dr. Philip Feitelson (Anne); grandchildren, Dr. Emori Bizer (Adam Brickler), Meredith Bizer, Gregory Feitelson (Shan), Dr. Anna Feitelson (Dr. Terry McCurry) and Dr. Jeremy Feitelson (Amy Landwehr); five great-grandchildren; and his caregivers, Deena Nelson, Kristi James, Tina Hardin and Portia Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Herman Meyer & Son, 1338 Ellison Avenue, with burial in The Temple Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. on Thursday.
