Leonard Leachman III moved to Carroll Co., KY, in 1820
Leonard III’s death date comes from Beverly Browne Leachman II. Beverly says that Leonard III ran a tobacco plantation between Worthville and Carrollton, KY. He called his plantation “Glen Ellen.” Beverly says he was a director of the Carrollton Bank (later a State Bank). Leonard III compiled a genealogy in 1888.
