Obituary: Chicago Heights Star - October 26, 1937
HEART ATTACK FATAL TO LEONARD LUSTIG
Leonard William Lustig West Main Street, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday night at Home. He had worked at his job as a truck driver for the Peterson oil company during during the day and was apparently in good health when he was stricken.
Born February 22, 1901 in Jasper county, Illinois, Mr. Lustig had resided in Chicago Heights for the past fifteen years. He had many friends in this city who were saddened by his sudden death.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs Hazel Lustig; two children, Mary and William; the parents, Mr. and Mrs Martin Lustig, and four brothers, Herbert, Louis, Gerald and Ray, all of Chicago Heights.
Friends may pay their respects at funeral services to be held tomorrow at 9:30 o'clock in St Ann's Catholic Church. Internment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

LEONARD LUSTIG DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. AI Dasenbrock and son Carl of Teutopolis, Albert Einhorn of Island Grove and Mr, and Mrs. Wm Lustig of Wheeler left early Tuesday morning: for Chicago Heights, Ill., to attend the funeral of Leonard Lustig, who died suddenly there Sunday, presumably of a heart attack.
Mr. Lustig, who was about 35 years of age, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lustig. former residents of the Irland Grove community. They have, however, resided in Chicago Heights for the past several years. The deceased is survived by his wife and two children, parents and three brothers: Herbert. Louis and Gary, all of Chicago Heights.
