About Leonard Henry Morgan
Wealthy family, big mossoleum monument in cemetery.
Born to Lark and Cassie Henry of Monroe Township , Madison County, Ohio. Cassie remarried to Nicholas Morgan and from that day he was known as Leonard Henry Morgan. He served in the War between the states 1861-1865, was wounded and served in several battles.The Morgan Road in Madison County is named after him. He and his wife Hannah are entombed above ground at Foster Chapel Cemetary.
Mr. Morgan suffered with Dry Gangrene for the last year of his life and was seriously ill the last 10 weeks.
