<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">The son of Peter Lauritzen and Mary Jaeger, "Lee's" first wife was Mabel Klemme. They were the parents of 1 child.

Mabel died of influenza in 1922 at the age of 22.

Children from first marriage: 1 son.

After Mabel's death, Lee married Ardella (nee Hetzer)Schulze on 04 Feb 1948 in Randolph County, Arkansas. She was the mother of 1 daughter from her first marriage.

Lee's father and uncle were made their livings as fishermen in St. Charles County, Missouri.

Children from second marriage: 1 step-daughter.

At the time of his death at Calhoun Care Center, Lee was 82 years and 9 months old. He was survived by his second wife, Ardella, who passed away in 2001.

Additional survivors included 1 step-daughter, Ida Mae Kinder of Golden Eagle; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Emma Blankenship of O'Fallon, Missouri, Minnie Williamson, Lydia Gist and Elsie Mockenheimer, all of California; and 2 brothers, Frank of O'Fallon, Missouri and John of Old Monroe, Missouri.

Visitation was held after 4:30 p.m. on 17 Nov 1982 at Hanks Funeral Home in Brussels. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. the following afternoon at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Brussels.

The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to the church building fund or to the Calhoun Ambulance Fund.

Lee's grandfather, <a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&amp;GRid=39653784">Hans Lauritzen</a>, is also buried at St. Matthew Lutheran Church Cemetery in Calhoun County, Illinois.
