Leopold Teschner

Leopold (Jehuda Lobl) Teschner was born in Trencin Co., c1745, the son of Aron Singer-Teschner and wife Rosalia. Leopold lived first in Podhradek, Trencin County, Hungary, but later moved to Nagy Bittse (now Bytca) in the mid-1780s. He and his family are seen in the Jewish census of Podhradek in 1782, the Jewish census of Rajetz in 1788, and in Jewish censuses of Nagy Bittse in 1795, 1809, and 1818.

Following the death of his first wife Eva (in Prossnitz, Moravia, 8 Sep 1791), he married a second wife [name unknown]. She was still living in 1818.
