Arena Baby, Two Months Old, Suffocates in Bed

ARENA - Billy Lewis Kelly, two-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. lester Kelly, town of Arena, suffocated in bed Friday. His mother found him face down. Coroner George Tyson said death was accidental and there would be no inquest. Survivors are the parents and a sister, Linda. Funeral siervices will be held at the farm home Sunday and burial will be in the White church cemetery, Barneveld.

Kelly, Lester L. SUN PRAIRIE - Lester L. Kelly, age 84, died on Saturday, June 3, 2000, at the Willows Nursing and Rehab Center, Sun Prairie. He was born on March 15, 1916, in Barneveld, Wisconsin, the son of Louis and Mabel (Doescher) Kelly. Mr. Kelly married the former Jean Spoerle on December 3, 1955, at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, Nashua, Iowa. He farmed most of his life. Mr. Kelly farmed 57 years in the Sun Prairie area. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Madison. Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife; his six children, Linda Kelly of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Kelly of Apache function, Arizona, Sally Jo (Richard) Pruess of Pardeevilie, Janis (friend David) Hasz of San Diego, California, Alan L. (Teresa Vike-Kelly) Kelly and Lou Ann (Peter) Kelly, all of Sun Prairie; 10 grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, and three greatgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn (Virgil) Jabs and Lilas Miller, both of Barneveld, and Lillian Theobald of Marshall; three brothers, Willard (Leona) Kelly of La Crosse, Marvin Kelly and Vernon (Millie) Kelly, both of Mount Horeb; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Richard Schluter; and brothers, LeRoy and Ellard. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2000, at 3:00 p.m. at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3702 County Trunk AB, Madison, with the Rev. Glen Zimbelman officiating. Burial will be held> in Hope Lutheran Cemetery. Madison. Friends are invited to call at the church onThursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m.
