Letitia Davys was the daughter of Arthur Davys and Hon. Catherine Stewart.[1]

She married Lt.-Gen. George Forbes, 4th Earl of Granard, son of Vice-Admiral George Forbes, 3rd Earl of Granard and Hon. Mary Stewart, on 16 July 1736.[1]

She died on 19 May 1778.[1]

From 16 July 1736, her married name became Forbes. As a result of her marriage, Letitia Davys was styled as Countess of Granard on 4 October 1765.
