Levi disappears from the records after 1850. Was he missed or did he die? There is evidence that he was alive with the birth Mary who was b. after the 1850 census and Livi B. b about 1851 who is living with older brother John H. who m. Elizabeth Jester in 18 Mar 1866 in , Union, AR on the 1870 census.
Elizabeth's father was also named Levi who was b. about 1826 who is reported as Blind in the 1860 census. We know this family came to Arkansas between the time of the census of 1860 and March 1866 when Elizabeth m. John.
To identify the postmaster of 1866, we have three possible candidates. The Levi of this profile, Blind Levi, and Levi b. in 1850. I have not yet found that any used the middle initial of M.

Research Note
This Levi's death record has been confused as Levi Jester on numerous trees on ancestry.com. A simple search of 1850 Illinois would show these are definitely two different Levis.
