Levi Ruble

Levi was a boat builder. Levi Ruble does not appear in the census records of 1810 or thereafter; therefore we believe he died before 1810. Adaline Ruble Gilbert, a great granddaughter, said that Levi Ruble was drowned in the Monongahela River and his body was never recovered.

birth date is circa 1771 - death date prior to 1810. Several sources give Levi's death as 1840 but we believe this was a mix up in dates.
