Lewis Bletsoe

His father was Richard Bletsoe the Blacksmith of Irchester in Northamptonshire and Isabella. His parents may not have been Richard Bletsoe, of Archester and Margaret Hill Bletsoe (Clarke).

Biography

Lewis Bletsoe was born in 1590 in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire, England.

Lewis married his first wife, Ellen Bletsoe on October 8, 1621, in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire, England. Together they had the following children:
Ellen Bletsoe.

Lewis married his second wife, Isabell Bledsoe (Pridmore) on October 9, 1624, in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire, England. Together they had the following children:
Abraham Bletsoe;
Annis Bletsoe;
Thomas Bletsoe;
William Bletsoe;
Humphrey Bletsoe;
George Bledsoe.

Lewis married his third wife, Dorothy Ghoulsbrough on October 18, 1637, in Barton Seagrave, County of Northamptonshire, England. Together they had the following children:
Lewis Bletsoe, II.

He died before September 10, 1638, in Barton Seagrave, County of Northamptonshire, England, and was buried in 1638 in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire, England.

It's my opinion the family that migrated to America came from the family of the Blacksmith, by following the paper trail carefully. Suzan Martin
