About Lewis Moses Coffey
He is not Lewis Moses Coffey, who married Delilah Turpin in Pulaski county, KY in 1818.
Both men moved to Indiana but lived in different counties, married different women and had their own children.
Lewis Coffey was the son of Thomas and Sarah Fields Coffey. Along with many other members of his family he moved to Indiana from North Carolina in the 1830s.
He died the day after his brother Rev. Reuben Coffey.
