• Liesel lived with her parents until 1938. Sometime in 1938, the family moved to Eisenach. From 28 August 1940 until 1942, Liesel lived in Erfurt and attended the Jewish school run by Leopold Stein.See entry in Jutta Hoschek, Ausgeslöschtes Leben: Juden in Erfurt 1933-1945, (2013) p.377.
• On 9 May 1942, Liesel left Eisenach with her parents and travelled to Weimar; from there they were deported to Belzyce Ghetto.
