To me, genealogy is like putting together a puzzle. We are looking for the pieces that fit in the empty spaces. In the process we try to be careful that the pieces fit correctly. If we try to force it to fit in the wrong location the puzzle doesn't look right, and will not give us the correct picture. I have always enjoyed doing puzzles. And Geni is one HUGE puzzle.

I also enjoy learning about the people of our past. The famous people are always fun to read about. I love learning more about them. However, I am even more drawn to the people that lived a simple life and were only remembered for a generation or two after they are gone from this life. Putting these people in the tree leaves a footprint that they existed and had importance. Without them we all wouldn't exist......
