From Darrell Wolcott, Center for the Study of Ancient Wales, in discussing Bartrum's placement of Rhys ap Ieuan Llwyd: "his construction fails the timeline test. The relevant citation is Dwnn i, 157 which is slightly corrupt, but says "Lleuci Llwyd ferch Rhys ap Ieuan ap Llewelyn Foel ap Moreiddig ap Moriddig Fychan ap Moriddig ap Blegored ap Dinawal". It was only Bartrum who added "Llwyd" to the Ieuan in the pedigree. I make her "Lleuci Llwyd (1325) ferch Rhys (1290) ap Ieuan (1255) ap Ieuan Fychan (1220) ap Llewelyn Foel (1185) ap Moriddig Fychan (1150)" etc. Her husband's ancestry is unknown, but her daughter was Joan (1345) ferch Richard ap Richard, which Joan married Ieuan (1335) ap Llewelyn (1305) ap Dafydd Fychan (1270) ap Dafydd Foel (1240) ap Rhys (1205) ap Rhydderch (1175) ap Cadifor (1140) ap Dyfnwal (1100)" (Steven Ferry, February 13, 2020.)
