Obituary from The Oklahoman, 10 Oct 1952, p. 14--Lloyd S. Handley--Services for Lloyd S. Handley, 63, retired post office clerk, will be Friday at 4 p.m. in the Garrison funeral church. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Handley died Wednesday night in his home near Edmond following a four-month illness. Born in Fairview, Kan., Handley lived in Oklahoma City 27 years before moving to Edmond seven years ago. He retired from the postal service four years ago. Handley was a member of the First Christian Church of Yukon and the United National Association of Post Office clerks. Survivors include his wife, Faye, of the home; a son, L. B. Handley, 1608 NW 41; a daughter, Miss Imogene Handley, of the home; four brothers, Neil , Lawton; Carl, Enid; Royal, Denver, Colo. and Orley, Sabetha, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Tessie Turner, Bethany and Mrs. G. E. Layton, Sterling, Colo. and two granddaughters.
